Just to let you guys know- this was one of the most professional
conferences at which I have ever had the pleasure of attending.
I've seen numerousconferences in LA, EAT'M in Las Vegas, and
of course- the one considered by many to be the industry standard-
SXSW. Without question, this year Nadine's Wild Weekend was
as good as any of these conferences- if not better.
--T-Roy, Callahan
I
thought from my prospective that it was well organized and
delivered. Between the Phenomenauts and myself with our two
passes we must have attended 20 shows and saw countless bands.
I really felt I was at an event at each and every place I
went.
--Rich Detty, Manager, The Phenomenauts
Autopunch
had a great time at the Tongue and Groove show, it was very
well attended. You may also like to know that the Autopunch
demo is drawing interest from Virgin and Capitol. Great job
on the Weekend and we'll see you next year!
--Josh Nathanson, Autopunch
We
had a great time participating in Nadine's Wild Weekend 2002
at the Red Devil Lounge Saturday night. We had an enthusiastic
crowd and managed to impress those in attendance there at
the Red Devil. Great job with grouping bands that fit well
together. That was true of our event and the others I attended.
--Brian, Keyser Soze
Thank
you very much for this weekend. It was everything that I thought
the SF music scene should be. It was truly one of the highlights
of my musical career.
--Chris Cary
It was great to hear you tell how you chose the songs on this
years compilation. It's nice to know someones listening. It
is certainly an honor for us to be on the same cd as all the
other great bands.
--Rick and Ben, Gimbo
I
just want to say thanks very much for including Nero in NWW!
It was a great weekend for us and really helped to build the
Nero buzz we've been working on. The whole weekend was very
well run and is a great opportunity for area bands. Thanks
for putting it on and thanks for having us!
--Sean Mahoney, Manager - Nero
Having
the opportunity to play during the "Wild Weekend" has kick-started
this movement. Not only was it a thrill for us to be part
of the event, but it's helped us in getting closer to and
attaining our goals for the future.
--Becki DiGregorio
It
was a very positive and enjoyable experience and ičll definitely
submit my stuph for consideration next year.
--austin willacy
First
let me say that karmacoda had the BEST time at 111 minna!
it was such a pleasure to play for all who attended and to
be billed alongside attaboy & burke, stonedays & ledenhed!
i loved our venue-- it fit our sound perfectly! many of our
friends came out to support and they all thought the acoustics
were fab and that the whole evening rocked (in an electronic
sort of way...ha ha!) nadine's wild weekend ROCKED!!!!
--KARMACODA: heather, b., brian, rafael
We
do think this gives us a little validity. It felt good to
be picked. It felt good to be part of this big party. Its
nice to say that my CD is in Tower, my ad is on 105., we're
playin' the biggest thing in the city. That's all the good
stuff we bought into this thing for. And the weekly stuff
was first class. Finally, nadine, you and I have never met,
but I feltlike you were on my side from watching you on stage
for 5 minutes. It was genuine. Keep it going. Find ways to
validate it, but keep it going. This city, this scene needs
it. Im looking forward to a drink with you someday.
--Mike, Afraid of Heights
I
thought that this was a big boost in publicity for my band.
Because of your event, I got my picture in the SF Chronicle.
Thanks again for all your hard work.
--Biachi, Castles in Spain
From
all of us at Reality Check TV & Radio--a hearty 'Thank You"
in return! We had a blast as well.
--Ace Annese, RCTV
Thank
YOU so much for the opportunity to play NWW2002. We had a
great time! Let me tell you, this was the most professional
experience I had with being a part of a large "organized show."
--Zack, Rivals
I just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to play NWW
at Bottom of the Hill on Saturday. It was a huge success for
me. Sold lots of cd's, got tons of folks on my mailing list
and had an overwhelming response. It was very cool. We had
a blast.
--Matt from The Welcome Matt
I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you on behalf of
Krenshaw. The guys had a great time playing the show on Saturday.
All the hard work and long hours that everyone put into making
NWW happen are very much appreciated. Krenshaw would love
to work with you in the future.
--Spyder, booking@krenshaw.com
You guys did a great job and should be very proud of the
way you keep this thing growing every year! Bravo...
---Matt, VIV
We had a great time. Thanks, --Paul.F, Managment, The Sick
This is Jenn from Enda. We had a fabulous time at Studio
Z on Friday. I remember back when the stage was different
when I was barely old enough to drink (or was I?). Studio
Z was a great choice; the stage was beautiful, and the atmosphere
was lovely and professional- the perfect backdrop for an industry
party. Thanks so much for booking us for that night and venue.
--Jenn, Enda
Thanks mama! That was a lot of fun. We could only want to
play longer sets, but that would be less bands (I know). The
facts and figures must be such a pain in the ass for one of
these things. We appreciate being part of it and hope to for
many years to come. Thanks again. You are the best!
--Slow Lorries
I was very happy with Nadine's Wild Weekend this year. The
Marginal Prophets had a wonderful time... We enjoyed meeting
the fellows in the other bands, especially Moodstack... Bill
Dickenson, our contact at the club, was great about communicating
to us before the show and followup afterwards.
--Paul Broadhead
Nadine, it was an honor to work for such a cool event, awesome
person, and great group of support people. I wish more of
the events I worked or my band played could be on this level.
I look forward to next year, hopefully working AND performing
for you.
--Bryan Strait, stage manager
I just wanted to say thank you. I had a great time at the
red devil on friday night. there was a great crowd and I got
to see some bands that were new to me as well as play with
some people that I know. I hung out from 5 pm 1:30 am and
just as I was about to leave, I bumped into nadine!...
--austin willacy
Thanks to all who came out for Nadine's Wild Weekend. The
place was PACKED all night long, there were lots of industry
folk there and four major labels that came to see the set.
We played well and the word is that all were impressed with
our show...including Nadine Condon herself. So thank you for
the support!!!
--Kingstreet Crossing
i want to thank everyone who made the 111 minna show for
nadine's wild weekend so successful and run so smoothly. all

great (despite our mortal and spatial limitations)!i also

everyone else). special thanks to: = priscilla thorner and
her crew for cracking the whip and manning the cd table. =

his beautiful hair. = kristen rice for taking the helm at
the projector while i did my hair. big ups to: = nadine, jocelyn,
caroline and posse for making it all posse-ble. = miles lewis,
tracie verlinde and alison smith of bmi for being there! ..........and
especially the friends and fans , old and new, who came out
to soak up the sounds and put aside music genre differences.
--ledenhed
Thank you for including Swoop Unit in NWW2002. It was great
to see all the talent in the area. I'm always blown away by
so many great players that you've never seen before. Personally,
I wish they'd stop moving here.
--Paul, Swoop Unit
Ones and Zeros had a great time, and are very happy that
you all included us in this years event. Hats off to Powerslave,
the Pound, Motogirl, Nadine and her crew... but most of all
thanks to everyone who came out to support us.
--OAZ
We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Tongue and Groove.
We had a wonderful set, great sound guy, and great extra help
hanging around. All was done very well, especially considering
the # of bands playing. Thanks very much for the opportunity.
--Michael Cerda, Big Breakfast
Just writing to say thank you for having us this year at
Nadine's Wild Weekend! It was incredible! We were very honored
to be a part of such an amazing event, and we would love the
chance to do it next year! It was tons of fun...
-- Aymen Trouble / Dexter Danger
Congratulations on a very successful NWW 2002! From what
I've seen of the SF part of NWW, it was great and a blast
and I met and saw some wonderful bands...I feel that this
year's event was very well organized and went over much smoother.
Great places, good bands, good vibe.
--Romeo, Rock 101
A big THANK YOU for once again putting it all together and
doing a great job at it. I can only begin to imagine how exhausting
this must have been for your entire crew! I had a great show
and enjoyed the upgraded Paradise, it's much nicer than before.
--Rocio Guitard
Hey there, Wild Women! - just wanted to let you know what

concerted collective efforts are very much appreciated by
SF's music community, we're way glad to have people like you
working with us! look for a wrapup of the shows i saw in the
next Zero. thanks again for everything; ya'll rock our worlds.
--stark raving brad
Hot damn that was fun. I just wanted to thank you guys for
everything, for the help and support, and especially showing
up to see us, it was a great surprise.
--Zach, Five A.M.
All the bands were very cool and there was a great vibe through
out the entire night. Extra Special thanks to Nadine for showing
up just in time to introduce our show!
--Tincture
I just want to say thank you for putting the Wild Weekend
together. I think it was a veritable success. It amazes me
that you take the time and energy to put it together... From
me and my mates in PEDALSPED we send a thank you. I just wanted
to drop you ladies a thank you note for putting together the
events this past weekend. As a musician and a music fan, it
was very refreshing to be a part of such a supportive environment.
I played at the Voodoo on Saturday night and spent a large
portion of the night hanging out and shooting the breeze with
members of the other bands. Everyone was rooting for everyone
else to do well. It was a wonderful experience. I got to speak
with some of the members of bands who played at other clubs
on other nights and got the same positive vibe from them.Thank
you very much for this weekend. It was everything that I thought
the SF music scene should be. It was truly one of the highlights
of my musical career.
