Wild Weekend

"Make everyday a Wild Weekend by staying true to your artistic visions, trusting your instincts and living each day as creatively as possible. Be inspired!"

Nadine has been working with local music since 1978. She created Nadine's Wild Weekend to celebrate the San Francisco music scene with fun, inclusive music showcases held in neighborhood venues and civic arenas that provide entertainment for music enthusiasts and industry executives alike. As Northern California's only three day celebration devoted exclusively to local music, it has grown from 60 bands on 9 stages in 1998 to 80 band on 11 stages with Stroke 9 headlining the Fillmore in 1999.

Nadine's Wild Weekend supports creativity in all it's forms. I encourage everyone to continue to discover and support our emerging local talent, to honor our current success stories, and to celebrate our unique and illustrious Bay Area musical heritage. I support a philosophy of musical inclusiveness, diversity, originality and inspiration. I believe in putting the “We” back into Weekend.

Nadine's Wild Weekend is undergoing an exciting creative renovation for 2001. While undergoing creative renovation, check out artivism which features sites that focus on the music and cultural aspects of San Francisco, that are so near and dear to all of us.

Remember, the Wild Weekend is a state of mind.
